“Tripping through cables on the way to shower in the morning, and finding an amp mic-ed in the bathtub was something I became early accustomed to… music has been my whole life.” -Evelyn Brown

Evelyn Brown is a singer, songwriter, producer and creative soul whose music lives at the crossroads of country, indie-rock, and indie-pop. Born and raised in the vibrant musical melting pot of Austin, Texas, she grew up surrounded by the sounds of Southern Rock and Motown — and early on learned that her father’s audio cables running to a bathtub-mic could be the first step toward a lifetime of creativity.
Her upbringing was steeped in music: her father was a musician and record producer, and his legacy helped shape Evelyn’s musical identity, rooting her sound in soulful storytelling and rich Americana textures.
Evelyn isn’t just an artist — she’s also a Berklee College of Music grad who worked behind the scenes. After moving to New York City, she honed her craft producing and working in industry and becoming a Senior Music Producer before stepping forward as a recording artist and getting noticed by Winding Way Records at a Rockwood (LES) show.

In recent years she was elevated to Executive Music Producer and recently expanded her artistic mission by studying music therapy, driven by a belief in music’s healing and transformative power. Her journey into therapy underscores her commitment to using music not only to express emotion but to heal and connect on a deeper level.

She’s an artist who bridges worlds: country, soul and pop, performance and production, raw emotion and crafted songwriting. Whether you catch her on headphones or live, the feeling is the same: real and rooted.
