Winding Way Records is thrilled to announce signing our newest label act Nothing But a Nightmare (NBN)! A local group originating from right outside Philadelphia, the band just released their second album titled Kleptomania and it shows off NBN’s signature sound, a new alternative rock with roots in the nostalgia of Panic! At The Disco and Bruno Mars’s pop R&B.
NBN is Eddie Tamanini (vocals), Ryan Scott (guitar), David Scott (keys), Clayton Malaney (bass) & Dom Vacca (drums). Their fresh new sound stands out from the pack with superb songwriting, great vocals, and band chops that carry through all of their tracks. We are very excited to be part of their new journey!
We are excited to announce that Bonne Finken has signed a sync-rep agreement with Winding Way Records. Finken is an award-winning artist whose music has made it to the top 40 charts, and received nominations for ‘Album of the Year’ by Indie Music Digest.
In addition to her success in rock and pop , Bonne received an Emmy® for her original song and score for the documentary “FarmHer”, and has had work featured on various TV shows and commercials (MTV’s The Real World & E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians).
Bonne is a kick-ass artist in our opinion and some of our favorite tracks are Possibly Impossible and Step Back Baby. Take a listen and please give her a follow here and anywhere you listen to music.
Bonne’s current work melds her rock background with pop sensibilities, and with the help of producer Matt Sepanic (Stone Sour; Slipknot) she creates some of the most accessible rock since Joan Jett.
Winding Way Records is excited to announce that we’ve added Emmy Law to our sync roster. Emmy is an indie pop singer-songwriter living in Atlanta, Georgia. She has performed in some of the city’s top venues, won the John Jarrard Foundation songwriting contest and opened onstage for some of Nashville’s renowned songwriters.
Emmy’s song “Goodbye” is the perfect combination of her unique voice, strong song writing, and Americana sensibilities. Emma cites her influences from Sara Bareilles to Copeland and she artfully plays guitar and piano in her blend of folk and pop across the Southeast. “Goodbye” is a light-hearted and longing, fitting for a bittersweet goodbye or a new beginning and It’s a perfect addition to your fall acoustic playlist.
Winding Way Records has signed the genre bending Chicago band Attack The Sound in a Sync-Rep agreement. The group describes their sound as “Chi-Pop”, a unique blend of Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, and Pop that comes from their Chicago roots. They currently have three singles out, our favorite is “Love is War.”
Early in spring, Attack The Sound brought us their single “Love is War,” a well crafted track about going the distance in the name of love. As the social and political landscapes have changed over this summer, “Love is War” has become an increasingly powerful song through its reflection on commitment to love in the face of hardship. Both a love song and a protest anthem, “Love is war” is a wonderful addition to the Winding Way Records Sync Library, perfect for a culture documentary or a love story.
Winding Way records has signed Rachael Travers, a London-based Folk singer-songwriter in a Sync-Rep deal. Her sound incorporates catchy hooks with Country and Folk inspirations, drawing influence from Phoebe Bridgers, Joan Baez, and Charli Adams. As a child, Rachael played piano and eventually taught herself how to play guitar. Rachael has previously performed as part of a band but has transitioned to a solo career where she has since received recognition from Nashville News and BBC Radio. Writing music is her primary focus, and she is currently working on her first EP.
Winding Way Records signed Rachael’s single, “Hope” for a sync agreement as it showcases her distinct and hauntingly beautiful vocal abilities. With simple, yet profound lyrics, “Hope” provides a feeling of comfort and peace in these trying times. The track’s songwriting makes it the ideal cinematic song to accompany an emotionally-charged movie or TV scene. Winding Way is adding Rachael to its growing sync library, which covers a range of genres and moods.
Winding Way Records is happy to announce that Ella Beyer has officially signed a record deal with our label. Expect new music from her this fall!

Prison Bound Man – Chris Strei

We are happy to announce Valarie Hartry has joined Winding Way Records in a Sync-Rep contract. Valarie Hartry is an emerging singer and songwriter originating from Ontario, Canada. Valarie Hartry lives and breathes music as she gets her musical roots from her mother who was in a folk band.
Reverse- Valarie Hartry
The rising artist developed her style and sound by trying all genres and not narrowing her vision. Influenced by the songwriting in folk music, to the flow from rap, and rhythm from jazz, Valarie Hartry has a unique style that will have listeners captivated. With negative past experience in labels and feeling stuck in a box, Valarie decided to rebrand herself to what she is today. The Canadian artist is one to keep an eye on and ear out for as she is set to leave her footprint in the music scene.
