Winding Way Records is thrilled to have Pat G join the label. Pat G is an international rapper based in Austin, Texas. His vision defines the cliches of the hip-hop scene, and Pat is known for his positive and uplifting attitude. His songs are family-friendly, yet energetic and inspiring.
Broken- Pat G
Pat loves to motivate his audience through his lyrics, and knows how to make his message appealing with a massive flow, echoing the work of artists like Nas, Lupe Fiasco or Lecrae, but with a clean and positive twist. We are so excited to work with him on his Sync-Rep deal.
We are happy to announce that Jason Murray has joined Winding Way Records in a Sync-Rep deal. Jason Murray is a singer-songwriter living in Boulder, CO. Gravitating towards unusual harmonies and personal lyrics, Murray draws on influences like Jeff Buckley, Chris Cornell, and Peter Gabriel to create music that is both soothing and in pursuit of a greater purpose.
Jason Murray- Antlers
His song Antlers is emblematic of themes present in his debut album Invisible Warmth, which examines themes like love, loneliness, and personal transformation against the backdrop of environmental awareness.
We are happy to announce that Jessamyn Rains has joined Winding Way Records. Jessamyn is an experienced singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer living in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Jessamyn’s Land of the Living is a song that first grabbed our attention musically and after learning that the song is about her difficult return to life after a tragic loss through the help of a friend – we were hooked.
Her style and lyricism is redolent of the work of Sara Watkins, Joni Mitchell, Marc Cohn, Iris Dement, and John Denver. Originally from Illinois, she was an English instructor and world traveler before settling in Chattanooga, TN with her family.
We are so happy that Jessamyn has started on a journey with Winding Way Records in a Sync-Rep deal and we look forward to exploring her new music too – welcome aboard!
Sharon Little, a CBS Records alumna joins Winding Way Records today to complete her next album “AThousand Light Years Away” due out in 2020. Sharon is working with Grammy nominated and award-winning producer Tim Sonnefeld (Elvis Costello – “Look Now”, Usher – “Raymond V Raymond”, Dixie Hummingbirds – “Last man standing”, Wanderlust and our Kira Alejandro).
In 2006, Sharon Little released her first independent album Drawing
Circles before being signed to CBS Records in early 2008. Sharon then toured with Robert Plant, Alison Krauss
and T Bone Burnett on their North
American Raising Sand tour. Little continued touring through 2008 and 2009
with Chris Isaak, Al Green, Pat Benatar and Jonny Lang
Her second album Perfect Time for a Breakdown (CBS
Records), was released on May 27, 2008 and it charted on the Billboard Heatseekers chart for several
weeks. Several of Sharon’s songs were
featured on television programs such as CSI:NY,
Sons of Anarchy, The Good Wife, NUMB3RS and NCIS. The
song “Follow That Sound”
Time for a Breakdown was also chosen as the theme for the A&E series “The Cleaner” and “Ooh
Wee” placed in “The Ghost
Whisperer” “Implosion” episode in March 2010.
Paper Doll, Sharon’s third album, was being co-produced by Grammy-winner Don Was but sadly CBS Records closed its doors at the end of 2011 before its release. Sharon continued on as an indie artist and we are super excited to work with Sharon and Tim on this new project.
Kira Alejandro has joined Winding Way Records for a new record deal in 2019. Kira is a charming indie/rock singer-songwriter who expressively plays piano, ukulele and guitar. Her voice is enchanting and her songs are intense and full of emotion.
We discovered Kira at the Ladybug Festival (Delaware) after hearing her alluring voice from many blocks away. When we got closer and saw her performing, we knew the universe had conspired to join us together. Check Kira Alejandro out here.
Kira’s debut EP Stone Cold Killer was produced by Kira Alejandro and Tim Sonnefeld. The EP was recorded at Retro City (Philadelphia) and Redstar Recording (Los Angeles). It features Kira on vocals, piano and Ukulele, Tim Sonnefeld on guitars and drums, and Sam Nobles on bass and synths; This EP captivated us and is worthy of heavy rotation on any playlist.
Kira Alejandro appeared on a compilation album (along with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Dave Stewart and others), playing her song “Better Days” to benefit the Red Hook, Brooklyn community after Hurricane Sandy. Kira is a graduate of the Interlochen Center for the Arts (MI), and has since recorded with Grammy-nominated and Grammy-winning engineers and producers. All of us at Winding Way Records are elated to be part of her journey and career.

Maggie Pope (Under The Oak) has signed with Winding Way Records! We love Maggie and are delighted to team-up with her on her first self-titled EP solo release.
Feels like home. It’s a theme that comes up every so often in the moments of community and connection that follow a performance by singer-songwriter Maggie Pope. With a vocal described as having “a purity to it that we rarely hear” (Ear to the Ground Music); it’s folk music at it’s best – honest and raw, with an air of homespun simplicity. We are so happy to help Maggie on this journey!
