Our recording studio sound booth was custom built, sound proofed and sound treated for critically-damped yet dynamic sounding recordings. We can expertly capture vocals, acoustic guitar, upright bass, cello, violin and other string instruments. The sound has been described by our artists as “incredible & gorgeous”.
We can capture brass, woodwind and any acoustic instrument that creates audible sound using great microphones and techniques to capture the most beautiful tones and timbres. You will not believe your ears!
In the booth, our two (2) noise-free Universal Audio Twinfinity 710 microphone tube preamplifiers capture the warmth and purity of your performance.
Our booth also has a drumkit setup behind a sound curtain to capture the best sound with dedicated mics, UA 4-710d tube preamplifier and compressors. We have recorded percussion instruments like congas and timbales too.
In our studio – We have professional recording equipment including a Universal Audio 4-710d four channel preamp, two (2) Universal Audio Twinfinity 710 microphone tube preamplifiers, a Focusrite Clarett 8PreX interface, Avid Artist Mix control surfaces, Yamaha HS8 monitors and subwoofer.
Our Bose F1 Model 812 1,000W Array Loudspeakers and F1 1,000W powered Subwoofers for large speaker monitor reviews.
Our microphones are world-class. Our Neumann u87 will capture the lightest whisper and the loudest belted-out vocal. Our Audio Technica 4022s, Shure SM7b(s), Shure SM58A Beta, AKG C214 and Mojave MA200 microphones can capture all the rest expertly.
Our Nord Grand 88-key digital piano featuring a rich library of piano, strings and synth sounds and a Kawai hammer-action weighted keys for a natural piano feel and rich sound. We record analog and midi to allow fine editing and casting your melodies to other library instruments (pianos, strings, bass, electric guitar, etc.)
Our guitar selection includes a classic Martin mahogany 6-string to lend a rich, warm and beautiful foundation to your recording.
Our 5 piece Yamaha Stage Custom, features a Pearl Omar Hakim Snare (5×13″), and includes 10″, 12″, 14″, 14″ snare, 20″ kick, Meinl 13″ Jazz thin hi hats, Zildjian 16″ thin crash, Zildjean 20″ ride, Sabian 20″ hand hammered ride and new Reno Ambassador coated drum heads.
Our US made custom DW drum kit is a Green Maple drum kit and includes 10″, 12″, 14″, 14″ snare, 20″ kick, Meinl 13″ Jazz thin hi hats, Zildjian 16″ thin crash, Zildjean 20″ ride, Sabian 20″ hand hammered ride and new Reno Ambassador coated drum heads are an option.
