Kira Alejandro is a charming and magnetic indie/rock singer-songwriter whose music blends emotional intensity with irresistible melodic instincts. Either on piano or ukulele, she brings a rare vulnerability to the stage—balancing tenderness with the provocative edge that defines her sound.
Her debut album, Stoned Cold Killer, is a bold artistic statement. Across its atmospheric, deeply felt tracks, Kira channels heartbreak, empowerment, longing, and confrontation with razor-sharp honesty.

With Stoned Cold Killer, she invites listeners into a world where softness and danger coexist—where every lyric cuts deep and every melody lingers. Our fav track is Oh Michael, what is yours?

Kira’s indie debut EP “Stone Cold Killer“ was produced by herself and Tim Sonnefeld; and recorded at Retro City (Philadelphia) and Redstar Recording (Los Angeles). It features Kira Alejandro on vocals, piano, and ukulele, Tim Sonnefeld on guitars and drums, and Sam Nobles on bass and synths. The tracks exemplify everything we love about Kira’s sound, and would make a great addition to any playlist.
Kira Alejandro got her start when she helped out on a compilation album (along with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Dave Stewart and others) playing her song “Better Days“ to benefit the Red Hook, Brooklyn community after Hurricane Sandy. Kira is a graduate of the Interlochen Center for the Arts (MI), and has since recorded with Grammy nominated and Grammy winning engineers and producers.
